Welcome to the Orientation


Now my platformer actually has a beginning and an end. (It does not feature any Jimmy Eat World songs). Art isn't my forte, so who knows about it looking like something, but at least there's objectives. Now if I could just "hallway-ize" away the ability to sequence break...


Should jumping have sound effects? Feels like of recent the answer's actually no, people apparently don't like hearing a character say "HAH" every time you press the action button.


To "cutscenify" the looking up, or rely on text? Imagine being told an instruction without the game pointing the player towards the next objective. People PREFER being lost?!
