Wall jump... or not, apparently.

The curse of game design, where it completely feels like I did everything right, and then I change a little bit of code somewhere and POOF! goes any proof of what I did before. While these might be empty words, the character was ABSOLUTELY wall jumping the way they were supposed to for a hot second, even if I can't prove it right now. Is there a game where the double jump has more inertia than the single jump? Feels like a ragdoll game has tighter controls sometimes...
