Look, I'm not about to get a high end desktop anytime soon, and working on 3D games is meaningless if I can't share the game without everything slowing to a crawl. The solution? Well who says you can't make 2D games in Unreal? This involves an included plug-in that helps convert textures to sprites, which the content drawer totally did for me and didn't require some workarounds on my end. I'm thinking a basic side scrolling hack and slash, but it might be better to stick to platforming depending on how these lessons end up going.
